The Digital Advertising Alliance launched its first certification process for Addressable Media Identifier providers. Companies that have either issued or plan to issue AMIs are required to certify their compliance with the Policy Framework for Addressable Media Identifiers released by the advertising agency earlier this year. The framework is intended to ensure providers and users of AMIs will continue to protect consumer privacy by defining both explicitly allowed data uses and prohibited data uses.
