The Cyberspace Administration of Hainan Provincial Party Committee alleges 11 mini applications collected and used personal information “in violation of laws and regulations.” The administration said the programs “are closely related to people’s lives and have a lot of complaints about personal information protection.” The committee said it will continue monitoring to ensure “that mini programs are cracked down on citizens’ personal information from the source.”
