On two separate occasions, a Vodafone customer found himself able to view customer information for which he was unauthorized to view, Stuff reports. After alerting the telecommunications company to inform it of what he considered a “bad privacy breach,” a spokesperson for the company said it was now aware of the breach and said it was the result of human error. The spokesperson continued, “We have since reminded all frontline agents of the correct process when managing or updating customer account information and we've put additional safeguards in place to prevent this error from recurring.”
