The U.S. subsidiary of Swiss bank Credit Suisse Group filed a lawsuit over a data breach that exposed former employees’ personal data, Reuters reports. In the lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, Credit Suisse Securities is suing 10 individuals for sending the former employees’ private data, including Social Security numbers and bank account details, to media outlets, law enforcement and others from a false email account in the CEO’s name. It is unknown how many individuals were affected.
