ZDNet reports on another online retailer affected by an attack involving malicious code injected onto its website aimed at skimming credit card information. New York–based homeware manufacturer OXO International recently notified the California attorney general and customers who were compromised. The breach event took place between June 2017 and October 2018 and was confirmed by the company last Dec. 17 after forensic testing. The event involved "sophisticated criminal activity," the company explained in its customer notification. The attack is similar to ones that have hit other online retailers, such as Ticketmaster and British Airways.
