The California Privacy Protection Agency Board will discuss candidates for its executive director role during its next meeting Sept. 24. According to the meeting agenda, the five-member board will discuss and have "potential action" on an appointment for the director post as well as the role of chief privacy auditor. The state of California took applications for the director position through Aug. 29. Editor's note: The IAPP's Cathy Cosgrove provided highlights from the CPPA's inaugural meeting in June.
