  • Also from Reuters, the Belgian Data Protection Authority has taken issue with the government's plans for contact tracing data storage.
  • The U.K. government is set to launch its "test and trace" system, which will require health information and contact disclosures, the Financial Times reports.
  • The British government continues to have discussions with Apple and Google about their contact tracing technology, Reuters reports, as the companies announced authorities from 23 countries have sought access to the technology.
  • Apple and Google also announced the launch of "Exposure Notification" technology designed to inform individuals they have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 in a privacy-preserving manner.
