  • Connecticut Attorney General William Tong released guidance for complying with the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, which takes force 1 July. The document discusses some of the most basic requirements businesses will be subject to as well as highlighting consumer rights provided under the law.
  • The Connecticut General Assembly granted final passage to SB 3, a bill concerning protections for children's data and general health data. Pending governor approval, the bill will amend Connecticut's comprehensive privacy law to enhance existing provisions on collection and use of both types of data.
