With an influx of major privacy frameworks emerging around the world, representatives from Canadian law firm Fasken created a table comparing foundational aspects of Canadian laws like the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act. The quick-view chart includes scope, responsible enforcement authority, definitions of personal information, sensitive information, and consent, among many other aspects. Housed in the IAPP's Resource Center, the chart, which was compiled by Fasken Partners Karl Delwaide, Antoine Aylwin and Antoine Guilmain, are offered in both English and French.
