VPN service company Surfshark launched a tool to prevent data brokers from storing and selling personal data, TechRadar reports. Incogni can identify and communicate with data brokers to delete customers’ data from the companies’ databases and customers will be able to see how many companies were contacted, which deleted their data, and those that are in the process of doing so. Surfshark CEO Vytautas Kaziukonis said Incogni seeks to help individuals utilize the ability to opt out “efficiently and exercise their legal right to privacy easily.”
