Newfoundland and Labrador Information and Privacy Commissioner Michael Harvey said his office will investigate the health care cyberattack impacting hundreds of thousands of employees and patients, CBC reports. Announced earlier this week, the data breach is the largest in the province's history. The hackers reportedly stole unencrypted personal information from the health care systems, including employee data as far back as 14 years. Stolen data included names, birthdates, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, medical care plan numbers and appointment times.
