Research from Consumer Reports revealed College Board is helping track and target millions of students by sharing their data with third-party companies, including Adobe, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Snapchat and Yahoo. College Board's privacy policy claims students' personally identifiable information is not shared, but Consumer Reports' analysis of the company's practices has allegedly proven otherwise. "Computers are incredibly efficient at linking all of these unique identifiers and information together. That’s really valuable for building profiles about consumers," Consumer Reports Privacy Researcher Bill Fitzgerald said.
