- U.S. investigators are looking into a data breach that affected an unknown number of Codecov’s 29,000 customers, Reuters reports. The San Francisco, California–based software-auditing company said while hackers tampered with its software as early as Jan. 31, the breach was detected earlier this month.
- In a notice on its website, Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C., said it experienced a breach of patient information last fall that exposed patient names, addresses, birthdates, diagnoses, treatments and prescription information, as well as Social Security and financial information, The Washington Post reports. PPMW Director of Communications Joshua Speiser said a limited number of patients was affected.
