CNIL publishes study on economic stakes of DGA implementation

France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, published a study on the economic stakes of the Data Governance Act, set to enter into force Sept. 24. The CNIL said it will be important "to provide sufficient legal certainty, including in connection with the (EU General Data Protection Regulation), a simple vision of interoperability, and specific action in favor of portability to combat lock-in effects in the digital economy."
