- France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, published eight recommendations to increase children's data protection. The recommendations include encouraging children to exercise digital rights, obtaining parental consent for children under 15, promoting privacy-preserving parental controls and more.
- U.S. Reps. Lori Trahan, D-Mass., and Kathy Castor, D-Fla., along with Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., announced they sent letters to 12 international gaming companies encouraging them to extend privacy protections they've provided under the U.K. Age Appropriate Design Code to children in the U.S.
