France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, laid out guidance on the European Commission's new standard contractual clauses. The guidance covers the data transfer situations covered by the SCCs, the major changes brought forth by the clauses and the three stages organizations should follow to implement the mechanisms.
