The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services revealed more details about the Healthcare.gov data breach, TechCrunch reports. The agency determined hackers were able to access accounts of brokers and agents who normally help customers sign up for health care plans. In a letter to the individuals affected by the breach, CMS said compromised information included names, dates of birth and addresses, and in some cases, Social Security numbers, expected income, tax filing status, citizenship and the results of the application. CMS said no bank account or medical information was stolen in the incident.
