Cisco released its 2021 Data Privacy Benchmark Study titled “Forged by the Pandemic: The Age of Privacy.” Of the responses received from 4,400 organizations around the world, 93% said they turned to their privacy teams to help navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, while 87% said they were concerned about the privacy protection of the remote tools they have used. Other responses include 62% that said they want little to no changes to existing privacy laws and 90% of respondents that claim privacy metrics have been reported to the C-suite and board of directors.
