The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency is urging the use of advertising blockers and designated web browser usage across federal agencies to combat malware threats, CyberScoop reports. "With many agencies greatly expanding telework options, agencies should increase attention on securing federal endpoints, including associated web browsing capabilities," CISA wrote in a recent guidance note. CISA also suggested potentially separating web browsers from operating systems as an added measure of safety.
