The Centre for Information Policy Leadership submitted comments in response to the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam’s Draft Decree on Personal Data Protection, according to Hunton Andrews Kurth's Privacy & Information Security Law Blog. In its comments on the proposed privacy law, the CIPL offered recommendations and modifications for areas where the draft decree differs from "global norms," including its sections on transborder data transfers and legitimate consent.
