It has been all too quiet regarding the current state of privacy law proposals in China and India. However, the opening panel of the IAPP's Global Privacy Summit Online 2021 suggested that may soon be changing. Rui Bai Law Firm's Barbara Li and Future of Privacy Forum's Malavika Raghavan discussed where China's Personal Information Protection Law and India's Personal Data Protection Bill stand and how both have a good chance at being finalized before year's end.
