PwC has joined the CESG and the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure’s Cyber Incident Response, becoming “the first major professional services firm to do so,” the company reports in a press release. The PwC team earned the accreditation after its cybersecurity group indicated its “proven experience of assisting with the fallout from cyberattacks for government, public sector and critical national infrastructure environments, as well as displaying advanced understanding of the cyber landscape and the ability to communicate the situation and remediation plans with business stakeholders,” the report states. “This accreditation recognises the continued growth and investment in a wide breadth of skills across our team, and the type of cyber incidents we have been helping clients respond to recently,” added PwC’s Kris McConkey.
