The unprotected back-end database of several “camgirl” sites exposed detailed logs of user data and information on those broadcasting sexual content, TechCrunch reports. Exposed data included user records, private chat messages and videos viewed, while account information of the “camgirls” was also vulnerable. The database, which was run by Barcelona-based VTS Media and shut off last week, was discovered by researchers at Condition:Black. “This was a serious failure from a technical and compliance perspective,” Condition:Black Founder John Wethington said.
