The California attorney general's office took the spotlight in the last week regarding California Consumer Privacy Act enforcement. The latest news came July 19 as California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced preliminary updates on CCPA enforcement pertaining to the right to cure, while also rolling out the Consumer Privacy Tool, which will allow individuals to notify businesses of missing or unclear "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" buttons on websites.
