After a potential $25 fee for information requests was suggested by the executive council, British Columbia Premier John Horgan said no set price has been agreed upon yet but still supports implementing a fee, CTV News reports. British Columbia processed an all-time high 13,055 information requests in the 2019-20 year, and Horgan hopes a fee will deter the majority of requests. "I believe thousands and thousands of requests aren't about finding out how decisions are made, they're about surveillance," Horgan said.
