A “data security incident” via a third-party IT service provider has impacted the personal information of Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich frequent flyer members, Channel Asia reports. Members were notified via email of the breach, which took place sometime between March 2010 and June 2019, that exposed member names, birthdates, genders, contact details and more. The total number of impacted individuals was not disclosed. A statement from the company said there is no evidence personal data “has been misused.”
