The Central Bank of Brazil adopted data protection provisions into its rules for open banking, ZDNet reports. A recent resolution amended five articles within the existing rules to include new measures involving account holder data-sharing consent and control over the right to correct or update data that has been shared. The sharing of customer data under the open banking model is slated to begin in July.
