Domestic airports in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo are expanding facial recognition trials, ZDNet reports. The technology was introduced this week for Azul, Gol and Latam pilots and flight attendants and eliminates the need to show identification to access the departure lounge and aircraft. A two-week trial was held at the São Paulo domestic airport and the Santos Dumont airport in Rio de Janeiro, and will also conduct a pilot of the technology for pilots and flight attendants.
