Brave announced it launched the privacy-focused video chat tool Brave Talk. Users can launch the tool directly from their browsers and will be able to encrypt their calls. The company says its servers do not save metadata and that conversations will not be recorded or shared without user consent. "Connecting with colleagues and friends through video conferencing channels is now the norm, and as users become increasingly aware of online privacy concerns, there is a growing need for a privacy-first option," Brave CEO Brendan Eich wrote in a blog post.
