BigID Co-Founder and CEO Dimitri Sirota said his company has always been philosophically open-minded to collaborating with a wide variety of partners. The vendor's mindset is one of the driving forces behind the recent launch of the BigID App Marketplace. The store allows users to buy a variety of applications to assist with different tasks and will eventually allow third parties to develop and launch apps of their own. IAPP Associate Editor Ryan Chiavetta, CIPP/US, spoke with Sirota about the creation of the marketplace and the importance of an open platform.
