BBB National Programs announced Mamie Kresses will lead the organization’s Children’s Advertising Review Unit as vice president. Kresses spent more than 30 years at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, most recently in the Division of Advertising Practices. CARU is the first FTC-approved Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Safe Harbor in the U.S. Kresses’ experience at FTC "in both children’s privacy and advertising law is an incredibly valuable addition to our growing organization," BBB National Programs President and CEO Eric Reicin said.
