The Automotive Information Sharing and Analysis Center has published a set of cybersecurity best practices for the automobile industry, Covington Inside Privacy reports. The guidelines cover “governance; risk assessment and management; security by design; threat detection and protection; incident response; training and awareness; and collaboration and engagement with appropriate third parties,” the report states. The “suggested measures” include standards from the International Organization for Standardization and National Institute of Standards and Technology, the report adds.
