The Federal Court of Australia ruled the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner can carry out legal proceedings against Facebook over the Cambridge Analytica scandal's effects on Australians, the Guardian reports. Facebook's argument that it does not do business in Australia was struck down by the court. In a statement, Australian Information Commissioner Angelene Falk welcomed the decision and will "continue to move forward with the case." A spokeswoman said Facebook is reviewing the court's ruling.
