Australia is reviewing TikTok’s potential risks to users around data privacy issues and foreign interference, Reuters reports. If there is a need for further action, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said, “I can tell you we won’t be shy about it.” Labor Senator Jenny McAllister said some of TikTok’s “approaches to moderating content might be inconsistent with Australian values.” Meanwhile, the social media app received a “final warning” from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority over explicit content.
