Forbes profiles Computer Crime Lawyer Marcia Hofmann as she begins her court defense of "WannaCry hero" Marcus Hutchins. Hofmann has represented a number of high-profile computer crime cases in recent years and taking on Hutchins' case is the latest for her. Hutchins was credited with stopping the WannaCry malware attack that spread to networks around the world, but he was recently arrested after leaving Def Con for his alleged role in creating and selling another trojan malware. Many of the cases Hofmann represents involve the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, a law that some consider "vague and inadequate for the internet age," the report states.
