Apple touted the privacy capabilities of its new products at an event at its California headquarters, GeekWire reports. For its Apple News+ service, Vice President of Applications Roger Rosner said the platform will not track what users read, nor will it allow advertisers to perform any type of tracking. Gizmodo reports on a partnership Apple reached with Goldman Sachs to create a privacy-focused credit card. Apple announced it will never track what customers buy. Apple, Mastercard and Goldman Sachs all pledge never to sell or store cardholders’ data.
