In a move to comply with the upcoming EU General Data Protection Regulation, Apple announced it will update its webpage for managing Apple IDs that will allow users to download a copy of all their personal information stored with the company, Bloomberg reports. Included in the update, customers will be able to correct their personal information, temporarily deactivate or completely delete their account. Updates to Apple devices will also provide clarification on the company’s data and privacy stance. While web-based privacy settings will be available to European customers in May, the updates will be expanded globally at a later date.
