  • Anthem’s Chief Information Officer Anil Bhatt said the company will work with Google Cloud to create a synthetic data platform, The Wall Street Journal reports. The platform would be built using algorithms and statistical models to generate 1.5-2 petabytes of synthetic data that include artificial intelligence-generated medical histories, health care claims and other medical data.
  • The Center for Democracy and Technology and Executives for Health Innovation proposed an initiative for the private sector to enhance user privacy of mental health mobile applications, Fortune reports. The initiative would be administered by the nonprofit BBB National Programs.
