Brazil’s data protection authority, the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, is seeking opinions on a simplified registration model of personal data processing operations for small handling agents. The input period will be open until Dec. 4. Small handling agents include small businesses, startups and nonprofit entities. “The objective is to collect contributions from society for the elaboration of the model,” the ANPD said. “The Authority expects to receive contributions from personal data processing agents, data subjects, specialists and other interested parties.”
