Brazil's data protection authority, the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, announced the winners of the inaugural "Danilo Doneda Monographs Prize." The awards, named after late data protection scholar professor Danilo Doneda, recognize top scholarly research initiatives in the area of personal data protection. Winning research topics included the interplay between data protection and artificial intelligence, irregular data processing, and children's data processing.
