MediaPost reports the Association of National Advertisers is on the fence regarding its views of the new California Consumer Privacy Act draft regulations. ANA Executive Vice President for Government Relations Dan Jaffe found the latest version of the regulations took advertisers' comments into consideration, but he said "significant problems" remain that could "negatively impact both consumers and businesses." According to Jaffe, ANA saw the clearer definition of personal information as favorable, while the group opposes new provisions on "do not track" requests.
