MediaPost reports Association of National Advertisers CEO Bob Liodice wrote a letter to U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., asking him to lend his input on the California Consumer Privacy Act. In his letter, Liodice alluded to a "regulatory hammer blow" on the advertising industry as it relates to CCPA provisions on do-not-sell requests. Liodice hopes to have Schiff discuss with the California attorney general's office how to "prevent the codification of these dangerous gatekeeper standards for browsers into state regulations."
