Amazon has secured two patents for a wristband designed to track employee movement and monitor performance, The New York Times reports. While it is unclear whether the company has plans to implement the wristbands, the company has a reputation for having a hard-hitting management style, the report states. The aim of the product is to streamline “time consuming” tasks involved in warehouse inventory management.
