CNET reports Amazon has fired an employee for sharing customers’ email addresses with a third-party seller. The former employee did not provide any other customer information to the seller, and the tech company has already notified affected individuals about the breach. Amazon has banned the third-party seller and said through a spokesperson it will support law enforcement in any future prosecution. The employee termination comes after reports Amazon has investigated employees for accepting bribes in exchange for data.
