  • Government officials in Mobile County, Alabama, said a May cyberattack may have exposed Social Security numbers, birth dates and other sensitive information of more than 1,600 employees, FOX10 News reports.
  • More than 64,000 patients of McLaren Health Care Corporation in Michigan were alerted of a data breach affecting their Social Security numbers, addresses, birth dates and health data, Health IT Security reports. The breach occurred between April 2 and April 20.
  • The Fairfax County Times reports a parent information website revealed Fairfax County Public Schools released confidential student information without permission.
  • Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity said claimant account data within the Reemployment Assistance Claims and Benefits Information System, including Social Security and bank account numbers, may have been accessed in a security incident, WKMG-TV News 6 reports.
