Ryanair denied claims it is hiding behind the EU General Data Protection Regulation to avoid disclosing "vital information" related to a U.S. class-action lawsuit, the Irish Independent reports. Lawyers from the Alabama pension fund suing the airline said Ryanair is using the GDPR to redact the personal information of those tied to the case. The airline said it has not sought any protective order enabling it to redact information from documents that would be classified as personal data.
