Guard, a new artificial intelligence tool, reads privacy policies so users don’t have to, Vox reports. The tool analyzes text and breaks down each sentence of a policy to determine the level of risk it presents to a user. The website contains an analysis of a number of apps, such as Twitter, Instagram and Netflix, and includes information on the number of threats each app has and the level of severity for each threat. Plans are in the works for a downloadable app that will scan other apps and alert the user to perceived privacy threats within them.
