Verhulst calls it “AI localism,” meaning “the innovation that happens at the local level in order to steer AI that can serve society at large.”
- The Philadelphia Tribune reports on “techno-racism,” discriminating against people of color within digital technologies. Host of CNN’s “United Shades of America” W. Kamau Bell said the fight for civil rights happens “in those algorithmic streets.”
