Spain’s data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, launched a priority channel for the withdrawal of sensitive content from the web. Through the channel, individuals can request the removal of images of sexual content or acts of aggression posted on the internet, “the dissemination of which without the consent of the affected persons is putting their rights and freedoms at high risk.” The AEPD will review requests and determine measures “that limit the continuity of the processing of personal data.”
