- Forty-five advocacy groups from across sectors joined on a letter to U.S. Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan urging her and the agency to take up a privacy rulemaking, The Free Press reports. The groups asked for a rulemaking that covers "entire life cycle of data—collection, use, management, retention, and deletion" and one that ensures consumers "significant protection from discrimination and related data harms."
